[Review] Harajucute with Brigitte- Blusher and Eyeshadow

    I Received items from Brigitte a while ago. Have to say I'm pretty excited about Brigitte, their lashes look so soft and is something I'll completely die for!
This time round is a 4 colour eyeshadow quad(ROMANTIC EYES OR1) and a duo blusher (ROMANTIC BLUSH OR1) for my review.


ROMANTIC BLUSH OR1

This peachy(right) colour itself already gave my skin the deserving glow, however if I add on the highlights, my results are effortless. Suddenly I felt like I've just pop out from a magazine. Yes highlight your blush really makes a huge difference.  Realized how those models from Vivi, Pop Teen always carries a dewy glow to their faces? The highlighter does its trick.


ROMANTIC EYES OR1

  Eyeshadow quad that carry warm colours accompanied with a peachy/rose pink shade is a die for!
  I always uses the enhancing shades (tone on center) on my tear ducts to make my eyes look wider and bigger. This case the warm peach almost orangy colour that was given is now my new favourite. This quad is good enough to create a subtle smokey look because the deep brown (shade on right) is not intense enough to create that dark sultry look but yet it is able to contour the eyes giving it the adequate dimension for a understated look.

As you can see from the family of quads which I own and these has already been my staple of the longest time.  Lets welcome the Newest member 'BRIGITTE' *applaud*
Most of the no brainer but si bei chio looks you seen on this blog is created using the below quads.  Notice there is always a highlighter which usually comes in off white/cream, an enhance colour that usually comes in warm bronze, orange/rose pink, a base colour which is usually an average brown shade and a contour colour which is usually the darkest brown or a deep auburn colour. These are the essentials to created your perfect subtle smokey eyes.

LOTD- Indian Sari at Wedding

    Whooowoooh! I can't believe I haven't been blogging for one entire week, is like FML I have no mood to do any shit  and FYL you don't get a chance to read anything interesting for the past week.

But today, now, this very moment, I'm resurrected as I type with so much intensity as if I'm like rewritting the great blog history.
True fact you'll find no epic history here, however, if u pop by expecting to see something awesome you are seeing no less than an elaborate event that might just sweep you off your feet like for example, the following minus that grainy shit ass phone quality pic.

My friends and I at a good friend's Indian Chinese wedding which I have blogged about shopping for sari the other time round at Little India. 
We were don in fancy Saris accompanied with accessories and proper hairdo this time round. Of course being a hands-on person you might probably figure that I had my hair and make up done all by me for myself. More pics of that later.

Check out the gorgeous ladies, we are so game for luxurious sequins in every colour aspect.

I'm sorry to say although they might look like a pair of match make in heaven gay buddies, they are actually pretty straight.


Alfian, the one with the most loveable character, I think by far at this moment I only have one best malay guy friend: him. He is like Fucking Yandao ok!!!

Bride's Sister, like the real sister not like me the jie mei kind but still jie mei by blood one. Geddit?! 
She looks like a Persian princess, is true! u all know me, I cannot bullshit one! She is really very chio!!!


Here's me, also quite chio albeit not shy but don't care la I know u all will say is nice one.    
Had my hair center parted, so it could show the Bindi better (A self-adhesive Indian gem where is usually stuck between the browns.)
Also did a messy pretzel twist to one side and finished up by curling the ends with a tong. 
In any case if your Bindi falls off or doesn't feel that sticky anymore, u can to use a good alternative like eyelid/lash glue as an adhesive all over again.

My Sari is pretty heavy with the substantial embellishment lining up the entire fabric.It could be tied in different ways, I prefer having that toga feel to it thus explains y part of my hand is concealed under the giant layer of sequins, also the real reason is to hide my gigantic arms.

Do not Fret, is just my tummy and the faint looking mole right below this sentence.

The entire sari is connected (excluding the blouse and petticoat) as a whole, one piece.Part of the sari is folded into different layers and tuck into the waist as the bottom piece and the remaining is loop over the shoulders as a top piece. Is pretty complicated though but I'm glad we have a sari lady to come help us with the tying.

This Gorgeous Blouse, which originally is part of the sari. Is cut, sewed and painstakingly stitched beautifully by the Bride's Mom-in-law.

It sure gets pretty lucky to be one of her close jie mei!
Everyone is seriously admiring my blouse and my dressing! Got Value added bonus when one indian relative from the groom's side came up to me and complimented me to heaven saying if there's a sari competition I sure win! wah lao my heart pi po pi po so happy!!! I win liao la!

LOTD-Featuring Kate Autumn/Winter 2012 Makeup Collection

Hi Dblchinis!

I was sent a range of Autumn Winter Makeup from Kate Cosmetics collection, I have to say I have a new favourite in that collection.That product by far has replace my (ex)isting favorite.
   

The "Kate Powderless Liquid Foundation" (S34.00, 6 shades)

This magic potion keeps my skin flawless and smooth all day long, I'm not kidding when I say that.
It contains coated pigments that helps correct blemishes with excellent coverage, I have no blemish so it has given me first grade coverage to flawless skin. The oil control is so powerful that I do not need to even touch up my makeup even at the end of the day.
I have to say, Kate Powderless liquid foundie has officially replaced my all time favourite: Aqualabel foundie.

Foundation glides smoothly even with fingers.

After prep face- give it some time to set on my face while I proceed to do my eyes.



Kate Deep Shiny Eyes-BU-1 (S23.50, 3 quads comes in 6 palettes)
 

Honestly, I'm not a fan of this quad, I dread silverish blue shade most. It makes me look tacky everytime I apply it. Cool colours are not my thing but I use it anyway.


Kate Super Sharp Liner (S17.00 , 2 special limited edition colours)

When I received this I was super excited to try it out because of the blackcurrent hue when I swatch on the back of my hands but it wasn't that impressive when I drew it on my eyes, probably my eye shadow and the liner given just doesn't gel together. I'll try a warmer tone the next time round.


Kate Mascara Fiber

This was not sent together with this batch but this is my all time favourite Mascara base, there is no words to describe how much I love this Fibre Mascara.  You can read more about it here!

My lash immediately lengthens even before applying mascara!



Using Maybelline Lashionista (filled with fibers too) I coated my lashes to lengthen and add more volume to it. Later u see my eyelashes very very de long.


Defining my brows with K Palette , check out the tip so fine.


  See the difference when you compare my before (right) and after (left) brows.
Also notice my mega long 'artificial lash' with only the help of mascaras.



Kate Slim Create Powder (S27.00)

I was previously praying to god that Women need more contour palettes than the usual few brands in the market. And the next thing I know I got my hands on this, swee~
A cheaper alternative to Kose's Esprique, similar shade & cost 1/2 the price of Esprique.
  To achieve a slimier face line, you need to contour the sides of the nose and sides of your cheeks when you suck them in.


Using Baked Blush from Milani, I decided to give my cheeks a rosy glow.





So here's a simple completed day look, I still don't like the silverish blue eyeshadow but I'm hoping you will like it!

Visit to Pasir Ris Dog Farm

This Blogpost is all about Dogs!!! yes dogs!
Finally we can get rid of the human for once, no puke induce camwhore shots, no makeup review only for the ladies!  Definitely a relief for you I'm sure. Take your time to indulge in the cuteness of these furry creatures and simply go 'ohhhh' 'ahhhh' and 'awww' like a exploded orgasm. swee~

On one sunny weekend, we decided to bring our furballs to the dog farm. Before we even head out, they already exhausted themselves by jumping and prancing frantically at our garden. 
Excitedly panting away, these 2 fur kids are well on their journey to dog Paradise.

When we reach the Dog Farm (Pasir ris Farmway) the first thing every dog does is to inspect each other's butt. I'm not sure whether they are sniffing out for shit or just simply checking each other balls out.

My husband once told me a story about dogs' balls, I'm quite uncertain whether should I even share the story with you guys because is way beyond proportion, almost epic I must say. 
Anyways I decided you should just brace yourself for the most ridiculous short story tale you will ever heard of :

"Dogs, big, small, furry or botak, would usually would hold their bi-annual meeting near a tree top, (I'm have no freaking idea y they even need a meeting!) They would hang their balls on the branches of the tree for a more relaxing discussion. One day, as usual they hung their balls on the respective branches and suddenly a fire broke out sending every dog in panic. It became so chaotic the canines simply grab any pair balls in sight before escaping.
So till this date, the dogs are still sniffing around at others property hoping to rediscover their long lost balls."

Sounds legit actually.


Check out this white fluffy Jap Spitz, seems like he is having some trouble walking on fours. Wonder y I know of his gender? Previous picture of his balls peeking behind his hind legs would tell u so.


Adequate exercise is very important for dogs especially when they are getting on age, at this present moment running freely will speed up their agility and give them room for freedom.
No point keeping a dog at your backyard everyday for the rest of it's life.

This curious dog came by when my Silky puke the toy out just to head over a nearby a bark for a piss.

Btw this french bulldog, almost got into a fight with my curly wurly Schnauzer.


I have no idea y would my (in-law) dog would get into fights but this is my first attempt bringing him out to the dog farm. Perhaps I should let him interact with other dogs more often so as to release the tension.


At the end of the day, I tell you what I dread most about bringing them to the farms, Showering these muddy creatures!
My Complain only lasted for a short while when eventually I get to sniffle and cuddle at a clean fluffy pup.
